Zoom MultiStomp MS-50G

Hello! Thanks for the reply. I did try out the ME-50 for a couple of weeks and was very disappointed with the sound quality. I don't know whether this 32-bit processor makes a difference. I also need something really small. I don't need many footswitches - I only want to preset my tone, I usually don't switch between different settings during playing. Anyways, will see this evening: going to try one. Cheers... Bence

This one is good stuff for the purpose! Small, sounds nice (as far as a digital multi-effect processor can). I am satisfied. If You need something that's easy to carry, has good sound quality and You don't change between effect settings so often during live playing, this is something worth checking out. Cheers... Bence

Personally I like to use in rehearsal what I'm going to use at the gig... That way I am better prepared to used my FX they way I want to live....

Hello Dave!

That's good thinking. But I am just an enthusiast, not a professional musician. I am a "bedroom player", who occasionally jams with friends or colleagues.

In these cases I feel very uncomfortable carrying my collectible vintage Ibanez effects. After a few hours of experimenting, I could get my basic sound out of this little gadget. To achive this previously I needed at least five of my 10-series Ibanez'.

Bottom line of my post: The Zoom MS-50G is quite good stuff for the above described purpose. It has a 32-bit processor which provides surprisingly good sound quality.

Cheers... Bence

I guess this thing is quite new but I wouldn't mind seeing/hearing a demo of it...

They're pretty good, I think. I'd use one in my effects loop for some delay and reverb in substitution of pedals and rack gear, but I don't really use delay or reverb. Just my trusted overdrive and Cry Baby, plus all the modulation I love (chorus, Phase 90, Rotovibe, etc). And a tuner, of course.

Hello! Don't expect me to make a demo. It could be harmful! [biggrin] Instead, here's one from the Youtube. You can find a few other demos there:
