Deposit paid - Can't wait

I placed my 50% deposit on a Dark Fire on Saturday. I'm in Singapore and the Dealer doesn't quite know when they may arrive - last he said was hopefully before Christmas.

 

Anyone else placed an order yet?

Hey small world. I used to live in Singapore but now in Japan. Trying to get one but I think I will order directly from US. Faster that way probably. What price were you quoted in Singapore? Good luck!!!

It's being quoted at SGD4999 but I managed to get it for slightly less. I did look at getting one shipped from the US, but most dealers wouldn't ship outside the US citing Gibson policy.

 

I emailed the support team at Gibson, got a reply straight away telling me who the dealer was in Singapore. Maybe worth a try for Japanese dealer?

Sounds great! Will try this path but being non-Japanese sometimes an order across the road is harder for me compared to one halfway across the world conducted in English... By the way may I trouble you to the email address for gibson support? I found one on the website called service@gibson.com but it looks more like for repairs etc. Good luck with your wait.

service@gibson.com was indeed the email address I used. I know the feeling about being non-Japanese as I work a lot in China!

I'm seriously thinking about giving my dealer the go ahead and putting the Frampton up on ebay. So, I guess I am joining the club and taking the plunge!

Yep, paid my deposit on Tuesday in the UK I have been told should get it within a couple of days from release (15th) can’t wait
