krock
Im in the market for a tuner pedal. I quite like the polytune range but am not sure about which to buy. Anyone prefer one over the other?Anyone know if there are any new pedals set to be released in the beginning of 2013?
CoreyT
I have the regular one, and I like it a lot. More so than my Peterson Stomp tuner.
Riffster
I am not sure that the mini takes batteries. The screen on these pedals is bright, I have the regular version, I am pretty sure I would not like the display any smaller.

krock
Yeah Ive read that the mini doesnt take batteries and also doesnt have the mini usb socket. The larger one also has the spare 2000Ma output. I just wasnt sure which one would benefit me more because as far as Im aware, no new updates have been released for the regular one for some time. Riffster
Don't expect updates anytime soon, that thing is over-engineered as it is. I am really happy with mine.
EVOL!
I have the regular Polytune and I am very happy with it. The pedal is average width so I don't think real estate would be a concern if you went with the regular over the mini. Have not tried the mini so I cannot comment on it. Pin
I really must sell my Polytune. I hate it. In fact I hate all "standard" type tuners and I now exclusively use a strobe tuner (planet waves in my case). They just seem so much better (easier and more accurate) to me.
