Iron Maiden - Phantom of the Opera

Such a timeless masterpiece.

I was precisely thinking of ordering the DVD Iron Maiden The Early Days, if you haven't seem it is a great documentary

I'll look out for that. Their earlier years are what interest me.

Albums wise I love the first two featuring Paul Di'Anno and then Number of the Beast. Somewhere in Time is also a brilliant album (I went to see them on that tour) but I never got in to anything after that.

Oh in that case that double DVD would be an absolute treat for you. It has several early shows, appearances and interviews even with members well prior to the original line up of the debut album.

The DVD covers it all from 1974 to 1983 and the album Piece of Mind. All of the early footage you have seen here and there over the years is in there.

Phantom of the Opera was in Iron Maiden's set list this past summer. I didn't look at the setlist online ahead of time, so I was quite surprised and very happy when they played it at Jiffylube Pavilion [thumbup]

Took my nephew with me. It was his first concert. After the show I told my nephew he didn't need to go see any other bands in concert because he just saw the best there is.
