Izzy
Here is one from my favorite Nick cartoon. It made me want to play guitar every time I heard it. http://youtu.be/jLzJ3tGLWxA The people who make music for TV shows never get any credit >.< Granted, this one I think was not made for the show. Pretty sure it is a classic.

stein
If I could link: I would give you "Perry the Platypus", and "Sanford and Son"....DIG those. I like that one...sounds like good ole 'jump blues'. It swings, or more like 'jerks'.

btoth76
The "Streets of San Francisco"-theme from Henry Mancini is great. That funky wah guitar part is very tasteful. 70's American series have fantastic themes. Lalo Schiffrin is great too! Cheers... Bence
Izzy
I always liked this one... I SO was thinking that's a classic. Beavis and Butthead had an old rock theme sound, and yet...were they not supposed to be all about HEAVY metal? The theme for My-so-called Life was a favorite of mine as a teen as well. http://youtu.be/znVBqSI4ghQ

Pretty sure it is a classic. I have remembered I have rar record. The name, it seems, is King's Pleasure (UK), jazz band, privately in Russia (they and others bands from the West were not allowed officially to Russia). The concert was in the border village Nickel. TV was also. For local residents it was as arrival of extraterrestrials . Live! :
Izzy
I was kinda avoiding this thread as it reminded me of the annoying best of threads,, but Mainly, I wanted to pay tribute to an underrated source of awesome music. These songs have to be catchy and compact. It is a challenge to make cool themesongs for TV. The guys who do never get any credit...Henry Mancini being an exception. I have him on vinyl.
