Californiaman
Every demo I've seen of this little gem-of-a guitar is good. Never heard of Nashville tuning until now. But that's probably because I live in California. Anyway, what do you think? I liked it so much, I bought one for my son for Christmas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36AAAs_82ck
j45nick
It's an interesting sound, but most useful in a mix with a conventionally-tuned guitar. I wonder how many of these will be ruined when the owners tire of the trebly Nashville tuning sound, and put heavier strings for conventional tuning on it? Sounds a bit too Taylor-esque to my ear......
Californiaman
That's a good point about people changing the strings out. They'll have to widen the nut slots too. I would imagine though that people who use this guitar will certainly be playing with other musicians live. Then there's the recording benefit. Lay down a track on your regular guitar and then double it with the Nashville tuning.
