merseybeat1963
I saw a show once a guy in England built some sort small vehicle in his house & had to knock out the brick wall to get it out. I think I remember he started with it,and he said it was so comfortable building it in his house..I think the living room, he just kept going. merseybeat1963
Yeah, I remembered this as well. Was this it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5ZZ7IXugno That's the guy. I hope he's as good at house repair as he was at building that thing. In NY City where my dad had us in the deli working there was a guy who was about 60's very artistic good looking dude in one of the huge Pre War Apts whom I used to call the Renaissance man. He built cars from kits..once an engine from scratch up in the apartment and built a nice handmade guitar for his son...lots of stuff. His wife was always quiet ,nice looking lady & his son always had happy look on his face. Special man this guy..was a sad day that he died. He used to just look into how things were built and go for em.
Mojorule
I think he misread the advice given on AGF where a hobbyist luthier wrote 'For a quicker drying process I glue guitars outside in the cold'. I note his wife's female inuition.
