sling blade
On black Friday I bought the last les paul traditional gold top my local sam ash store had. They even matched their web site price so I got it for 1399 after tax. I almost passed it up because it had a two piece back. My other two standards have one piece backs. Does it matter to you guys? Guest Farnsbarns
I think I'm right in saying you're quite lucky to have bought 2 standards with one piece backs as I believe they are often 2 piece as well. That's by the by. I wouldn't let a 2 or 3 piece back bother me. It's been happening for decades and since you can't tell by listening to it, it doesn't matter. btoth76
Two-piece is OK. Why wouldn't it be? My only concern would be whether they are well-matched or not. Can You tell me, how many pieces this one is made of? Cheers... Bence

btoth76
I don't even think about it twice! Hehe! Well, I just discovered it's actually much more visible on the photo than in real life. It's been really nicely matched, even seems like the grain is crossing the line where the halves meet. Anyways...It really doesn't sounds like a two-piece. Cheers...
