Rabs
Is it April 1st? A charity in New Zealand is teaching rescued dogs how to drive a car. The canine driving school is aimed at proving how intelligent the animals can be. Monty the giant schnauzer is among the novice drivers who have learned to control the brakes, gears and steering wheel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0w53NBC8_A

Rabs
Lol... it would certainly bring a new meaning to the term "curb crawling" :)
jdgm
What's the dogs name? Rover? Oh very good! Proves once again (if it needed to be proved) that dogs are very clever and might even one day make better drivers than some people.... Yeah, me for instance - I stupidly ran a red light last week and the camera went off so I'm expecting a letter.
Bender 4 Life
I was jamming here at home once w/my best friend when the phone rang, it was Mrs.B. calling from up-town wanting me to bring my keys so she could get into her truck....upon inquiring as to why, I got the response of "YOUR dam dog locked me out of the truck with the keys in the ignition" ....now MY dam dog was a genius of a Black Lab with a true sense of humor, and Mrs.B. swore she did it on purpose (which I never doubted) but at least the truck wasn't running or that could have well ended up a "driving class" that day. as I harrummphed and snorted in a vain attempt to conceal my laughter (my bud was ROLLING behind me) I comforted Mrs.B. by telling her "well, at least she's only a LITTLE smarter than you". i'm lucky to be alive after that.....
