spooki Posted December 7, 2012 Share Posted December 7, 2012 Hello everyone. Looking for a little input on a non-epiphone topic. I'm looking to get my son a better amp for Christmas. He is fair with the guitar and learning. Hopes to eventually do a garage band deal for the learning experience. I've located a Marshall Valvestate VS 100 half stack for $400. Has anyone had any experience with this amp? I'm a true tube man myself but understand this is a hybird of sort. The price seems fair enough and have yet to look and test it. It's going to be a 100 mile drive, so I'm asking around for input ahead of the possible trip. He plays mostly rock, but likes good cleans and some dirty early metal also.
