No Use Fan Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Last week i made the decision to sell my Les Paul Goddess. Then, i thought it was a HUGE mistake. That was the best guitar i have ever owned.....UNTIL NOW!!!!!!! I took advantage of MF's black friday sale and purchased a Traditional for a great deal. It just arrived via the hot UPS girl. take a look... This thing sounds fantastic! More pics coming soon.
Rudager Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I was hoping you'd show a pic of the hot UPS girl...but I guess 1 pic of a hot lady is enough :-D
Murph Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Man, nice top. You did good. A Traditional is what I need. Hey, we all need one. Best to ya. Murph.

That's not a scratch just below and left of the knob is it? It could be a reflection?
Bluemoon Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Nice going. She looks great. Congrats. What amp are you playing her through?
Tim Plains Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Great looking piece of maple...but get rid of that pleked sticker.
retrosurfer1959 Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Yep that should pretty well make you feel better about getting rid of a Goddess. Nice guitar great color.
SRV-Zeppelin Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Congrats! Enjoy the new axe, and welcome to the forum.
t.a.f.k.a.i. Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 thats excellent . love the shade of it .
Bram Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 That's a great, solid looking Les Paul...I thought Gibson didn't make such Les Pauls anymore, untill now. It looks like an 80's Les Paul in every aspect. Get rid of the sticker; it'll look even better!
Thundergod Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 ...she is a beauty, she is a godess... no, she is more than a godess...
buchananblues Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Very nice, congrats - gorgeous looking !!!!! and welcome to the Traditional Owners Club. I almost made the mistake of selling mine. I'm certain I would have regretted that sale. She is definitely remaining in the stable. It is an awesome guitar - the 57 HB's sound amazing.
lucy-guitar Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 :) extremely nice top - scratched or not :) I'm getting GAS for a Traditional
No Use Fan Posted December 5, 2008 Author Posted December 5, 2008 There are no scratches, that is a bad reflection. I posted a couple of weeks ago about the classic custom vs the traditional. I am certain i made the right choice. I love how heavy it is. The weight and the 57 classics just make it sound like it has meat.
