Dogear...Humbucker???

Good old Wolfe does it again. He just recently posted this pic on Wolfetone Pickups' Facebook page, and it's a pretty cool idea. A full-sized Humbucker that can be retrofitted to any Dogear P90 guitar with no routing.

Check it out!

P.S. Wolfe gives credit to Tubetone74 from TGP for requesting this.

Yeah I looked into this a while ago and found this place that do Humbucker sized P90s and P90 sized Humbuckers :)

One distinct difference is that their P90-sized Humbuckers aren't full-sized Humbuckers. They're a facsimile of a Humbucker, but they're narrower and have 12 slugs rather than 6 slugs and 6 adjustment screws. This is a Real Humbucker that will fit in a Dogear P90 guitar. If you need a humbucker in your Soapbar P90 guitar, then sure, go for those ones you linked. But why over complicate things when you don't have to?

Yup. I was looking to replace the bridge p90 on my Les Paul double cut. Which is why I was looking at those :)
