Tman
Going to see them. Yes crazy. My wife and I are flying all the way to New Jersey from California. Man I hope Keith plays a Gibson during the show - Maybe a hummingbird? If allowed, I'll post a video.

Tman
Got a call at 04:30 this morning from American Airlines saying the flight was cancelled out of LA. They booked me onto another flight where I would miss the concert. Couldn't book an alternative. I'm screwed and can't go. Still numb.
RaysEpiphone
Well now... Thats a long ways to go to see a show but they do still put on a good one, even if they should have retired back in the 90's (I would have) they rock! May not be any real consequence but Mick always plays an SG.

CowboyBillyBob1
That reakky sucks. Of all the concerts I've seen none beat The Stones in '72. Somehow it was just not meant to be. Perhaps someone is looking out for you in some strange cosmic way.

Still have the ticket stub, $5.00 with a .50 service charge for a grand total of $5.
Tman
I had really outstanding seats too. 9th row left of center stage right next to a lifelong friend. He went and said it was outstanding. He sold my tickets for a big loss but at least I got something back. I guess the way I'm looking at it is what I tell patients - yes it's a bad injury but at least it's not lethal. I saw them in 78 at the Superdome in New orleans where they started with "All down the Line"; kicked my behind. Saw them in 89 at the Houston Astrodome and 98 at Candlestick in San Francisco. This was going to be my 4th show. I'm still crying. Going to watch pay for view tonight and live vicariously through my own hypotheticals. <_<

I was not a big Stones fan when I walked in but was overwhelmed on the way out.
Dave J
Watched on pay per view. Was a grear concert. Would have been fun to see in person. So feel for your lost oppertunity. Davej
charlie brown
Sorry, to hear that Bender...It's a bummer, about the cancellation, and no alternative! But...There's a reason, that happened. Could even be (probably is) a blessing, in disguise? One never knows... Hang in there! CB
Tman
Charlie and cowboy I agree. Could have saved me from something bad. Here's is from my friend - great seats huh? Also watched pay for view. More Gibsons than I think I have seen from the Stones. LP jr, LP, Hummingbird. Loved it.
Twiz
Tman, that's a major bummer! Sorry you didn't get to go. I watched the concert on pay-per view. I can't believe how Mick still runs around like he does. Ronnie Wood had some good solos. This is awkward for me to admit, but I really enjoyed the performance with Lady Gaga singing Gimmie Shelter with the band. Speaking of Ronnie Wood, did anybody see the guitar he was playing that was yellow, with a reversed headstock, and some kinda weird blue orb below where the bridge is on the body? I'm trying to figure out what that was.
