One of the best guitars builds ive ever seen

Ive been watching a lot of videos on guitar construction recently as im about to make my own one..

This is probably the most detailed one ive ever seen. The work this guy puts in is just amazing.. From the headstock construction which seemed maybe a bit over complex to the inlays to the way he does the arching on the guitar and even making his own (wooden) pickup rings and control knobs.. Very impressive. (I wish I had even half of his tools (and and even a quater of his woodwork skills :)).

i always liked the lp shape, the single cutaway, 3 on 3 tuners. if i could dream a shape i'd like the scroll shape incorporated into the single cutaway and as far as headstocks go i like the fender villager or electric twelve string shape, maybe a scroll or violin style on the headstock. i don't know what the functionality of these shapes are but asthetically they please. can't beat that sg horns either. any ugly guitar shapes out there ... hmmm seasick steve?

I dont think the headstock shape makes any difference... what does make a difference (so I have heard) is the way the strings come of of the nut.. With in line headstocks like on a firebird or a strat the strings dont have to break at an angle from the nut they go straight through.. With Les Paul 3+3 types, they have to go off at an angle that s I have heard means more tension on the strings and more breakages (even though I dont suffer from string breaks at all so I dont know if thats even true).

If thats not true then it makes no diffference at all :)

As for the cutaway shapes.. Not sure about tha either.. I really like the LP DC shape.. I prefer it to the PRS version.
