Zappa912
So I was offered this guitar as trade for my gear on Craigslist. I'll most likely be buying it but would appreciate if anyone here could verify its authenticity for me first. I find it unlikely that anyone would go through the effort of forging a Studio, but it doesn't hurt to ask. The guitar's serial number is 92962393. http://www.flickr.com/photos/53630110@N04/8288473853/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/53630110@N04/8289525020/in/photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/53630110@N04/8289534450/in/photostream/ Thanks! I have the same one in Fireburst. Mine is a 1996 USA Gibson Les Paul Studio. I called Gibson Customer Service, gave them the numbers and she said it was one of 104 made in the USA in 1996. It was the last BIG ticket item at a church raffle in 2008. The bidding was CRAZY fast from $200 to my one bid of $400, then nothing. The MC of the event kept trying to get the crowd of 500+ to go higher. NOT. He walked over, handed it to me and said, "Ladies and gentleman. This guy just stole a USA made Las Paul for only four hundred dollers." I am learning Acoustic Blues guitar, so I really need to face my fears and get the Studio off the wall hanger and play it. Merry Christmas!
