onewilyfool
Congrats on the new guitar.....BUT can anyone tell me why those Rotomatics get such a bum rap??? I know they are heavy, but work great and need no maintenance!!! Some luthiers claim that the extra weight of the Rotomatics actually ADD to the tonal qualities of the guitar.....just wondering.....Oh yeah.....please add photos of your new guitar and sound clips if possible.....congrats!!! Smurfbird
It does seem to be the season for changing those tuners. I've been toying with the idea myself, but I've decided to make do, since I think the gold rotomatics might very well be adding to the tone and the balance of the guitar. EuroAussie
Because they're big and ugly........ Â Bingo ... but I have to say the Imperials dont do it for me either. Call me a traditionalist but for the J-200 and Hummingbird its Tulips or its nothing for me. Â disclaimer: this is just a personal opinion, nothing more or less...... but just to be clear, it has to be Tulips damn it ... !!! Â Rant over. Now, back to normal programming. E-minor7
Good idea with the split motif - and of course the Tulips. Hope the G and D roll free. Looks as if the single ring is close to the wood. Â Can't wait to hear a performance -

Not sure about length, but some are double-ringed - yours are single-ringed, no issue. Don't know if the doubles are still in production.
