Vintage Guitar Assistance Needed!

Looks to me like a B-15 with a replacement bridge. No binding, Melody Maker style headstock, ladder bracing .... a Norlin-era guitar that was an even cheaper instrument than the LG-0. It's not a collectible guitar at this time, though you never know what collectors will decide is valuable after all - just try buying an old Harmony cheap these days.

thanks, juan - i didn't expect it to hold much value. wishful thinking got the better of me.

it's doesen't really have that much value . if you were talking a 40's J 45 it would be different.

Norlin era guitars aren't what collectors want ... so I would say this one is probably worth less than $300 an that's being optimistic .

The B-15 was actually introduced before Norlin entered the picture.

The ones that I have run across had that skimpy 1 9/16" nut but I am not sure if that was consistent through the entire run. If I recall the asking price of the last one I saw which was a 1968 or 1969 (I don't remember which) was in the $500 range. I don't have a clue if that is what it eventually sold for though.
