E-minor7
Recent photo of J.B. - with 'new' 45 ? The colours are slightly withheld, which might influence the burst - nice slope anyway.
ParlourMan
Not sure if it's new, but it looks fantastic. Love the finish. Would take it in a heartbeat.

j45nick
It looks like a faded 60's cherryburst, but it almost looks like the wider neck that JB favors, plus it seems to have Martin-style pickguard, as the shape at the lower back corner seems wrong for a Gibson teardrop. I'm guessing vintage, maybe about 1964, just before the necks got really narrow, but we really need a picture of the entire face of the guitar to know. The back bracing almost looks like the fatter 60's style as well.

E-minor7
Yes, the p-guard should curve inwards to be a 45. 1964 is a good shot, guess they would have the longer guard (don't know what it's called), so it could be the reason we see a substitute. The guitar looks very glossy – almost as refinished, still that could be the lighting. I would like to check the bridge.
