Acoustic Amplifier

I'm considering an amplifier for my acoustics. I would like an AER, but kinda out of the ballpark price wise. I was thinking about the Fender Acousticsonic 100 or the Vox AGA70. Both sound great and they have modulations/reverb. What are your thoughts on these two models? Or, if you have other suggestions, I'd be happy to listen to them.

And...

Happy Christmas to all!!!!

I have a 10+ yr old Fender Acoustisonic SFX - two channels. Did fine in a large church setting with a band. I wouldn't say its the best I've ever heard, but its fine for most everything I've needed. Its heavy. I put wheels on mine.

Not sure how loud you need, but I've been impressed with the UltraSound I bought a few years ago.

I've had my eye/ears on the 50W Ultrasound for about 3-4 years. Just ordered one last week...have yet to receive it. When I tested Acoustic Amps a few years back, the one that most impressed me was the Ultrasound. (The newer ones say Dean Markley Ultrasound, but Dean Markley basically has always made them except when Ultrasound was just a start up. Most, though, have been made by Dean Markley, but just didn't carry their name plate along with the Ultrasound name.) Although, I've heard other musicians say good things about their Fishman, too.

For me and what I use it for its the Fishman Sa220 Solo or " Fishstick"...

It has 2 channels, a good reverb can be linked with others and its very light at 25 lbs and wheels on the case/ bag make it easy to transport and set up,is a breez.

When in use its speaker array is at ear level and serves as a monitor and it does IMO sound great for a small to med venue, it's only short comming so far is you can't put a drink on top of it [tongue]

So many choices. Can't demo the Ultrasound as no dealership here. Should have mention the amp would be mostly home use. Don't need a lot of wattage. But I will check out your suggestions. Thanks to all!

This is the model I use. Perfect for home and small venues like coffe shops.

Also, Maury's a great guy to deal with.
