markm
Anyone gig with one of these? I just got one of the TV yellow juniors (yep the under 100 dollars 1 pickup model!) I am pretty amazed with how good it sounds, how easy it is to play and how well it stays in tune. Did I get lucky?

LSAR
I've got one in cherry. I don't gig, but it's pretty sweet with Grover tuners and an EMG 81X.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Guitar!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrKrfsrmxYI Willy Nice slide playing!! Funny thats the first thing I though of: To set this guitar up for some slide playing, but it plays so well for me I am keeping it in regular rotation. buddhuu
Hi Mark, I gig with an Epi LP Junior. It's had a few mods, but the basic guitar is easily giggable once you put decent tuners on it and so long as your wrapover bridge intonates well enough for you. Mine's a cherry finish. What I've done to mine is: * Fit Wilkinson tuners * Fit Wilkinson replacement bridge (although stock bridge was ok. Just wanted a bit more adjustment) * Fit straplocks * Replace stock humbucker with Rebel 90 humbucker-sized P90 pickup Just the nut to replace now, when I find time to carve/file/slot the bone blank. My Junior has a great neck and a nice fret job. Mine has Alpha pots which feel and work fine. The stock cap also sounds fine with the P90 pup. So, yes. It gigs fine and I'm very happy with it. :)
tweed2
Juniors are a great modding platform. From this POS($49, with a hard shell case). To this, with another $50 and some elbow grease.
geelinus
You're definitely not alone. Mine is a real keeper - despite being the cheapest guitar in the herd A quick YouTube search will uncover a host of positive reviews. Enjoy your guitar! That is spectacular! Great job! That's really the same axe? Is it a run of the mill bolt-on neck?
