NGD '61 Reissue

Recommended Posts

I was contemplating a '76 Standard as I posted in a previous thread, but came across this brand new '61 Reissue marked down to a ridiculously low price at GC in Boston today. I traded in a tele as well and ended up paying less than $850. The salesperson said they just hung it on the wall a couple days ago so it literally did not even have any fingerprints on it. Man, does it sound sweeeeeet!

How's this......

Real good looking axe but I thought for some reason there was a noticeable difference in the width of the reissues compared to the regular standards width. Maybe it is an optical illusion but it looks to be about the same width as the headstock on my standard 2006 model. Anyways maybe someone else will chime in here and straighten me out. Either way I think you got a very good looking guitar, Tim

Yes it does go to sweetwater and look at the new sg standards for 2013. Small guard and has the 57 classic pick ups too. Tim

Great deal for a great guitar - congrats! [cool]

There's some amazing deals on the go recently - if I'd waited a week I could have got my SG Classic last month for 25% less - but then if I'd bought it a month earlier I'd have paid 20% more than I did .... great value for what I did pay anyway so I'm not complaining. [smile]
