Murph
I'm hoping good. I bought an ('07) ES-339 this year from MF. And an '08 Les Paul Studio. I also bought a 1933 Mandolin from Gruhns. I'm around $5000.00 for Gibson gear this year. In these tough economic times, I'm doing my part for Orville. I will start buying Gibson strings, because I see it getting this tough. RichCI
I support American products, but I won't overpay for them which is why I buy all of my strings from WebStrings for $2.49 per set.
Tim Plains
Gibson Canada set a new record this past year thanks to GuitarJunkie and I...mainly thanks to GuitarJunkie. I don't want to total how much I've given Gibson this year...I won't be able to sleep at night.
Tim Plains
Just came across this...it looks like times are truly tough at Gibson and they've expanded their market. http://londonon.en.craigslist.ca/for/935917481.html

daveinspain
2007 was my give Gibson a boost year.... 2008, so far Gibson only got me for my Custom and ES 339.... Got some other stuff that Gibson did not benefit from, even though it was Gibson product, i.e. things bought on Ebay....
Murph
I'm done for the year. BUT..... Next year is looking good. There is a Mom and Pop about an hour plus North of here, that has an ES-335 I liked. I'm gonna swap off my last Fender, ('91 Tele) ,,,,(except for the bass) and be done with em'. I'll be all Gibson, Mesa, and a few Fender amps. When I plug up my ol' Tele after playing the 339, it just sounds like a kids toy. I have no idea how I lived with that choked/wanna puke single coil sound for, actually, several years. No idea..... Best to ya'll. Murph.
