MorrisrownSal
I tried my hand at this Ryan Adams song using my Gibson J45-TV. I recorded it dry using a Zoom H2n, positioned about 18 inches away - a little lower than my mouth and higher than the soundhole. Let me know what you think? Hope you like it. http://soundcloud.com/sal-from-chatham/invisible-riverside

62burst
Nice job, guys. Sal, sounds like you're trying to dial in the Zoom; since it's such a songwriter's song, the vocals are nice to have way up front... could maybe even go closer, but very nice recording. Love the Zoom clarity. BBG- had to close my eyes; hear it as I heard Sal's... 'cause I had some major J45ness catching my attention. It records very nicely. What is/was your recording gear? Like. 62burst
just an iphone 4 guys Ha! That's pretty damn funny. Gee, I wonder if it had anything to do with who the guitar operator was :).
flatbaroque
Both you fellers really do justice to that song....these songs are made for the J-45, someone should tell that ornery North Carolinan to buy one...great versions and authentic sounding boys
