MLB
Wondo, from everything we read about the DF, it's appears to be a superb guitar that is still an anlog guitar with digital capabilities with the included software. Keep in mind, as with just about anything these days, many companies get a product out the door and make fixes as appropriate to address issues that come up. Sometimes companies send out products even with known issues. Obviously, the reason for this is getting the product out the door first in the name of revenue. Iif you have to sell the Frampton to pay for the DF, I totally understand. Personally, I had kept all of my guitars from the forst electric and acoustic my Dad bought me. I have let 2 guitars go in my life, but I don't regret that. One of my sayings is "a man can never have too many guitars". :) Since I gig out now and spend alot of time in my studio, I've found that I do indeed go to different guitars for different sounds and/or just playability, such as rhyhm or lead. If the Frampton is a very quality guitar and/or you have distinct sounds you enjoy from it, and/or you're very comfortable with it, I would try to keep it. If it is not a decently high end guitar and you don't have any issues parting with it, then definetly let it go.
