jtjones
I recently purchased a Epiphone Sheraton and I could use some help figuring out what year it was made please. It is blonde with a plain black pick gaurd and has a Gibson truss rod cover. It has a sticker on the inside of the F hole that says SHERATON (not Sheraton II) The serial number is not on the sticker but stamped on the back of the headstock as S99020875. It has a really nice wood grained top with gold hardware, amber knobs, and two brown stripes going up the back of the neck.
Whitmore Willy
Jtjones, Welcome to the Forum! Pics?!?! FYYMMRRRR F = factory code (this can be 2 letters as well) YY = year of manufacture (this can also be just 1 digit for some '90s models) MM = month of manufacture R = ranking number (may be more or less digits, not necessarily indicative of total units produced) Samick Plant, Korea February 1999 Production Number: 0875
