flatbaroque Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Been doing my LG-2 research and came across this guy....seems like a singer songwriter worth looking at. In an interview he cites his 1948? LG-2 as his "desert island" guitar. I guess this is it here. Good song and playing.Nice sounding guitar.I'm still considering bidding on the potentially dodgy one I linked to in other thread. The seller has made 14 revisions to his description in the past 3 days ..haha
retrorod Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Nice find[thumbup] I like his style and the tone is 'spot on' also. I think his use of the thumbpick on the LG2 contributes to the tone. I will check out his other stuff.
EuroAussie Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I like the tone and the track, but kept thinking to myself it would have sounded a bit stronger with a J-45 and a bit more bottom end ..
Rambler Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 "I like his style and the tone is 'spot on' also." Uhm-hm. Ran across him the other day, have a little trouble getting past his homeless persona, tho.
geeterpicker Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Nice tone from that guy. That little guitar really growls. I also like the clip from Martha.
