My friend lives literally right down the block. He's awfully happy I'm playing it. Glad you enjoyed the playing amigo. Toby

bonzoboy
You're so lucky to have access to such a great little gem.I couldn't get the vid to play for some reason but I'm sure that a Gibson of that vintage sounds sweet. What is the purpose of what appears to be drilled holes around the bridge area? Actually I'm lucky to have a good friend who lives a block away and feels good about lending me his guitar to play. It's a same he doesn't play himself. We have no idea what the purpose of those holes were. The mystery continues....
pippy
Great story and wonderful playing, Toby. It really is a sweet-souding guitar - in your more-than-capable hands, at least... I thoroughly enjoyed the Boogie Woogie. I suspect I'll revisit that clip quite often to be inspired such small parts as my limited abilities may allow. Thanks very much for posting. P. Just what I thought, there are some great tricks, love how you keep the walking baseline while holding the chord variations. What's more, your style makes it easy to see how you're doing it. You might get a few hundred views from me!
