Can't see why anyone would put a Gibson logo on it to make a fake that doesn't even follow any of the Gibson models. Does this happen often?

Does this happen often? I'll have to return to the store and yell at this guy.. Anything to make a buck. Pretty sure that is not......cough cough....a Gibson guitar.
