everso1 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Just thought I would mention that I have a epip triumph A 412 natural, oval hole archtop from gibson bought at eu wurlitzer in boston. built in 1968 in kalamazoo....seems that few were made ..we bought it there and paid about $700 in 1972..its still in excellent shape..similar to the howard roberts model with the single hum pick up and frequensator tailpiece ... bobouz Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Sounds very interesting. Have always liked the Epi H.R. Quote
everso1 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 Its been fun to have..its drawback for my size is the narrow neck..besides that it is a sharp looking instrument..was never certain what the instrument was..the label inside the body says epip triumph A 412 nat..kalamazoo . had to have new frets put on as they were getting to worn ..
