Like a Professor Hawking on guitar. Even though I wouldn't buy a cd of his or even go to see him perform, I don't even like him! But, I hold my hands up to his total mastery of the instrument. This isn't full of effects or distortion. He's so fluent and competent. There's no one better at what he does. I don't personally think that Steve Vai could play better. Now that's an argument!
