urbs
Hello everybody ! I'm a little curious to know how many folks out there like sports and music as much as I do and how big a part of their lives each plays . Where I grew up football , hockey and playing music were a huge part of everyday life. We all played some sort of instrument and used to get together a lot to do the backyard jam and make a hood party out it . Where I'm living at now you hardly even see the neighbors ! What's that all about ! Whatever that's a different story alltogether . So how about it ? Let's see your favorite teams ,sports , instruments ... My favorite f-ball team are the mighty PITTSBURG STEELERS , hockey Philadelphia FLYERS , baseball Pitt Pirates , and of course my Awesome LPstd !! Tim Plains
I used to be a huge Leafs fan, but gave up on Hockey during the strike. Mixed martial arts is the only sport I watch now.

gearbasher
Bicycling is my sport of choice. I usually ride 3-4 hrs. a day, 6 days a week. Unfortunately a bad accident has me side-lined. I can't wait to get back on the bike. I've been doing this for 30+ years. The guitar doesn't even come a close second. I'll play paddleball, stickball (city kid games) and softball if I can get a few other players together. As far as spectator sports. Baseball and the Olympic games are the only things I'll watch. ChanMan
Well... Of course there is the music thing... ... and I have just about got an armor kit together to start fighting again. Was playing Rugby for the Nashville City team when I saw these folks in Centennial Park fighting... I walked off the field in mid scrimmage and never went back. THE most fun sport I have ever played! That's me in the silver barrel helm, red/black tabbard with the blue belt token...

retrosurfer1959
Used to live for sports and played football through college the fourth knee surgery and second elbow surgery sidelined me for good my senior year. Now I'm fan but not really fanatical about it I watch a few games every weekend but don't slit a wrist if something else comes up instead.

I noticed the un-clobbered guys in the band at the after-game dances and all the girls checkin' 'em out. My athletic career ended at the same moment my musical career was conceived. surfpup
I don't watch sports... except for Florida Gator football. Can't help it since I am an alum and grew up in Gainesville. Go Gators! Other than that I find TV sports boring. So many things I'd rather be doing...
SRV-Zeppelin
50% music 35% work 10% sleep 3% sports 2% eating 100% breathing I play soccer during the spring, and that's about it. My favourite team used to be the Leafs, but I've given up all hope that they can win anything anymore, so now I root for the Flames... other than that, I watch FIFA league soccer once in a while, Wimbledon when it's on once a year, women's beach volleyball (+1 Cruznolfart) and the Olympics every 2 years. rocketman
Well I posted a thread a few days ago about my alma mater's, the University at Buffalo (State University of New York), amazing defeat of 12th ranked and previously undefeated Ball State to win the MAC championship. Unfortunately I'm still a Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fanatic too (it's been a rough year). But winning the MAC puts a smile on my face. Hey Tim, don't you come and see your Leafs in Buffalo? The arena is usually half filled with Leaf fans for those games. Maybe you can do the national anthems on your R9!
