Wow... that's some intense finish.

...Silverbursted' date=' your new avatar doesn't quite seem to fit your name... I was expecting more, well, you know... [i']silver.[/i]

Thats true, my first LP was a Silverburst, but she got jealous of my new Traditional and had to go. People wouldn't know me by another name, so I have not changed it.

Hey TG did check out the other one I emailed you?

This R9 is about the same distance from my place to the Blue Sparkle

Custom @ Ebay.

Hey man, just read the pm... strange I never got the mail telling me there was a private! That guitar is nice... I really like those sparkle finishes, that SG is no exeption, she is beautiful... (unless they are preceded by the words "gecko" or "barney").

Here's the thread...

A couple of selected quotes...

It's a scam. Too bad. It was advertised on San Francisco Craigslist. I wrote the guy to go play it' date=' and here's the reply.

Hello,

i still have the guitar and I want to make this sale very easy and safe, as i am out the country because i work in US Air Force and i am gone almost all the time. Currently the guitar is at one of the Online Outpost stores in NY, one of the best eBay selling services.I am sure you heard about it. If you want to buy it, i can deliver it at your location and give you a 10 days inspection period to decide if you want to keep it after you test it. Let me know..

Thank you,

Narcis

As they say, if it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Oh well.[/quote']

Also...

It's a scam for sure' date=' that guitar has been sold much more than that, it's possible that sell you so cheap...here is the link:

How come people think they can get a fast sell when they put Rare or Very Rare in the ad' date=' nothing rare about this guitar.[/quote']

relative to other R9s, it is somewhat rare. maybe not brazz or Stinger rare, but uncommon still. The pics appear to be of a "monster top" Historic of the mid-late 90s. these guitars dont come up for sale nearly as often as other Historics, and they tend to command much higher prices on the used market- its rarity is more in its collectability than in its production number (which would still be less than today's R9). whereas a 07 cherry R9 might fetch $3800 on a very good day, a 90s "monster top" could easily pull over $4k....nothing like selling used for more than you paid new.

- What kind of Silverburst did you have?

- What year etc.?

- Why did she got jealous?
