$300.00 well spent!

Lol.. I was only kidding.. A good pedal can cost that much.. it was just the way he said it :)

I have to admit.. I think they got it right with this one.. Because its so unobtrusive to the look of the guitar and easy to install as an upgrade...

Im in no rush for it though... when the day comes again that I have that sort of money spare then maybe I will give it a go.. :)

$300 extra for a guitar doesn't seem that bad. I have an original robot and love it... It's my goto guitar... I do have more of a problem spending $300 on a pedal that contains about $20 worth of components where as a guitar has a lot more craftsmanship and materials...

Very cool. I can envision these things becoming really popular.

I still don't like the mass on the headstock. It gives me the heebie geebies.

[biggrin]

The Heebe Geebies... Wow my mother always says that when she has when she is having an anxiety or panic attack... Now I understand it better... [blink]

So according to Henry's video - it is weightless, and doesn't cost anything. What world does he live in? It is a cool system, but after 50 years of tuning not something I am going to run out and trade my Les Paul just to get one with this on it. Agree with some of the other posters - in spite of what Henry says, it has to weigh something and effect the way the neck feels in your hand. I had to adjust from an old LP with Kluson tuning keys to a newer one with Grovers. The Grovers are just heavier and make the guitar feel different in your hand. Would be really nice for live stage work though - instant change to drop D or whatever tuning you want, and instant tune up after a solo where you bash the hell out of your guitar and pull strings out of tune.
