strat71
That's what I'm talkin' about. Red 333 i'm very impressed since my 2011 J45 TV sounds exactly the same... i'll quote this video when i'll need to explain how my guitar sounds... Matters
This guitar was the runner up when I bought my Sheryl Crow SJ. Nice guitar. Matt
Salfromchatham
This video made me curious about a few things. My 2007 TV has a Sitka top. So besides cosmetics and electronics, what difference is there between my 2007 J-45 TV and a Modern J45 standard? In this video, Tony mentions the structural difference as only adirondack top and bracing... Also while I dontnhaveba scale, my perception is that my TV is lighter than my J-50 Modern Classic. j45nick
Watched that video yesterday, and thought it demonstrated perfectly why the J-45 TV is one of the best guitars, and best values, on the market today. Absolutely classic J-45 tone.

Regardless of top, the True Vintage J-45 uses the forward-shifted, wide x-bracing borrowed from the Advanced Jumbo. The J-45 Standard does not. The back bracing also differs. Salfromchatham
Thank you Red333. Good to know. I suppose all that really matters is how they sound to me, but good to understand why.
