dem00n
My arms fell off trying to figure that out. I know, to the normal person it wouldn't seem that complex. But once you analyze it...damn.
CowboyBillyBob1
Jazz drummers have been doing this kind of stuff for a long time. Check oit Elvin Jones explain one concept and illustrate it. Elvin was a pivtol jazz monster. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YVOd1hK0_w
EVOL!
Not sure I follow. Am I missing something or is the stuff I am impressed with what you are getting at? 1. He's playing open handed technique. Not easy if you started with regular old cross hand. 2. All those color and accents he is doing with his right hand are amazing. Reminds me of something Glenn Kotche would do; where the two hands are doing their own thing.
slavestate
His videos are rad. It's a great way of explaining the technique. Both drummers I play with use variations of most of his methods in their playing and it's easy to see why. Very cool.
