I believe it has to be a Bozeman Custom Shop Model, although I'm not too knowledgeable about the Nashville made stuff. For all the bonafide Gibson historians on here, did Gibson ever put the orange label in the J45's/J50's prior to the modern era? I guess I could look it up in my copy of "Gibson and Their Fabulous Flattops)? My 1953 never had the orange label and my friend has a 1942 that I don't remember seeing the orange label inside. I froze the video, but the image of the label is too blurred for me to read any information. Maybe one of you guys has a computer and monitor with the capability to see it better. I couldn't get a good enough view of the sides to determine if the back and sides are actually mahogany. That strong bottom end makes me think otherwise, but he could have eq'd the recording so it might be.Also, the bridge and fingerboard seem too dark to be Indian rosewood (or even Madagascar) and might well be Brazilian. And the crown on the headstock-has that ever been standard on any J45?The reason I'm so interested is this one sounds awesome to me, so I'd really like to know.I also like his choice of microphone-it is an Audio-Technica, either a 4033, 4040, or 4047 (black finish-the standard ones are silver) or a 4050. It appears that he has a second mic on the guitar and I'd like to know what it is. AT mic's are pretty well known to accentuate the low mids and scoop the high mids a bit. That's why I love them so much. Just pointing out that the mic's and recording itself could have affected the sound we're hearing. Before I joined this forum I was a regular on the gearslutz site and it was my passion for awhile. I sold off most of my gear (thankfully not all), but in the coming weeks will be getting back to it since my medical condition has caused me to want to get the rest of my songs recorded soon,at least while I'm still able.Sorry for the long post, but I'd really like to know more about this guitar. I love how it sounds. I may try to contact the guy through youtube to try to get the info.

Larry- sorry to hear the ominous tone at the end of your last post. I believe you'd mentioned some health concerns in recent posts, but whenever someone says things like " I'd better get these songs recorded while I'm still able to", you get our attention. I hope you can share some of your music with us here on the forum, in whatever shape its in. Never can tell who will pick up that ball and run with it.

But bear in mind; simply making music where there was none is good medicine for the soul.

Wishing you good health.
