livemusic
Here ya go... one of Nashville's best songwriters, the guy is a master. What kind of guitar is this?
BluesKing777
Mint looking Gibson LG2 Banner with a pickup added and still can't really hear the guitar much - pickup is a bit quacky so my guess would be a Fishman U/S - but who would care about any of that if you can sing like him? j45nick
Can't really hear the guitar at all. Beautiful-looking guitar, however. I've never met an acoustic pickup I liked, but I know they're out there. The dude sure can sing.
larryplatz
Nice sounding guitar for having a pickup and I agree what a great voice. The song is a masterpiece and I hope it's a huge hit, but I have to admit it hit a little too close to home for me for these lines "even if it kills you in the end" and "pick your poison". I won't go any farther so as not to detract from the original topic. That would sure be a nice Gibby in anyone's collection. Too bad I had to stop collecting or I'd sure be looking for something similar. I've noticed many singer/songwriters tend to use the smaller bodied guitars so as not to overpower the vocals (my opinion at least)and it always seems to work quite well.
