kaleb
They did full-color episodes in 1965 (I think?). I have them on DVD. But you can't beat the old ones!

MissouriPicker
Cool video. I've read quite-a-bit on The Stooges. For me, Larry Fine is a real hero for them. When Curly had a stroke and huge medical bills, Larry suggested that he, Moe, and new stooge, Shemp pay Curly his full salary, plus cover his medical bills. Moe and Shemp were so touched by Larry's gesture for their brother that they publicly broke-down and cried. Another thing I found was that The Stooges were making $300 each per week. This was obviously great money, especially during The Great Depression. However Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy were making $1500 each per week. Oliver Hardy told Moe that he needed to speak with Stan (who ran the business part of Laurel & Hardy) and find out how to deal with the studio bosses. The Stooges each ended-up getting $1000 per week. There are some pretty cool stories about these old-time stars and the quiet lives they typically led. hellion102792
Gotta love the Stooges, true masters of entertainment. And Ray there's another part of that video on the tube where Moe flawlessly does the "Ma-Ha? Ah-Ha" routine with Mike Douglas, up until the end he still had it. bonzoboy
I love the old comedy troupes from the Vaudville days such as the Stooges and Marx Bros. plus Laurel and Hardy,Abbot and Costello and W.C. Fields. There is nothing today that can come close to the outrageous wit and incredible slapstick comedy of these guys. Each and every one of these men was a comedic genius and placed an indelible mark in the history of comedy acting.I have a compilation of 3 Stooges films, from the very early days ,right up until their last movie that was shot in the mid 60s,no matter how many times I watch their outrageous antics I never tire of them and always get a laugh like it was my first time seeing them, that's the sign of a real artiste.
