Kalamazoo Gals/Banner Gibson Book Tour

Hi, all,

To minimize the spam aspects of my announcements but still to provide dates/places of my book tour, I've edited this post to create a "unified thread" that I'll update as I add dates.

Here's the current list:

Sunday, February 10, 2013: Davis Auditorium of the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts, 21 Edwards Street, Springfield, MA, (413) 263-6800. I'll be playing guitar in the Science Museum from noon until 1 and then talking from 2:30 to 3:30.

Saturday, February 16, 2013: Big Fretboard Journal Kalamazoo Gals event. Sponsored by Gibson. Expect an interesting announcement from Gibson and me at this event.

Saturday, March 2, 2013, 5 to 8 PM: Retrofret, 233 Butler Street Brooklyn New York, NY

Saturday, March 16, 2013, 11 am to 4 pm: The Music Emporium, 65 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA, (781) 860-0049

March 23, 2013: Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, 6767, West O Avenue Kalamazoo, MI (269) 488-4400, Room AWH 308, 3 to 4 pm

May 22-26, 2013: Acoustic Guitar Meeting, Sarzana, Italy

Summer NAMM convention, July 11-13, Nashville. Details soon.

July 11-13, Carter’s Vintage (Walter and Christie Carter’s new shop), details soon

I'll be in LA next week (to complete my interview of Dhani Harrison) and will work on setting up another wave of west coast events.

I hope that I can meet many of you as I wander the globe spreading the news of the Kalamazoo Gals. I'll be armed with a presentation that includes photos, video clips of my interviews of the Gals, and x-rays. Most importantly, I'll be carrying my SJ that survived living in foxholes with its original soldier owner during WWII. My goal is to get it into as many hands as possible:

If I'm near your neighborhood and you have an idea for a venue for such an event, please let me know.

Thanks!

That's great, jt. Wish I could be there. All the best with the event and the book.

Thanks, Red! Maybe I'll be in your neighborhood at some point. I've edited my post to create a single thread that I can update with new events as I book them.
