pippy
Does it have a one piece solid mahogany body or is it made more along the lines of a regular Standard (mahogany cap on mahogany body)? Gorgeous guitar in any event. Keep us posted on how she sounds, please. Thanks for the post.

Murph
I really like that look. Usually I prefer a pickguard, but my daughters '08 Studio (Fireburst) didn't come with one, and it's really growing on me. Not that I'm actually allowed to play it. Murph. KingMetalHeart
She is a beauty! I love the woodgrain and the clearcoat brings it out like glass. I like the uncovered pick ups as well as that fluffy case too.

gromaj
Beautiful, congrats! Love the (now discontinued) Classic Antiques. Tim - Gibson used the Classic Antique at least five times during the 2007 Guitar of the Week program (Fireburst, Tom Morgan, zebra wood, ice tea with H-90s, and the one in this post, the faded cherry mahogany top): http://www.electric-guitar-review.com/2007/07/25/gibson-announce-guitar-of-the-week-27-les-paul-classic-antique/ They also created the "Antique Deluxe" goldtop, which was basically a Classic Antique with minihumbuckers. Neo had one, I believe.

If you have the chance, visit Max in the Hague (http://www.maxguitarstore.com) , they claim to have the biggest collection of Gibson Customs in Europe, they have a lot of Gibbies in stock.
