Andrew Riggs
I am about to have to buy new tubes for my voxac15. What should I get? I want to stay as close to the original sound as possible. If anything maybe a little but more marshall sound but not much.

badbluesplayer
If it were me, I'd put a tung sol in V1 and JJ's in V2 & v3 and I'd use JJ power tubes for a rock. If it sounds too gritty, then swap v1 & v2 so that a jj is v1 & a tungsol in v2.

Dub-T-123
3x Tung Sol 12ax7s, 2x JJ EL84s. Jeff helped my pick the tubes for my ac30 and it sounds better than ever! I didn't really think I wanted to change how it sounded, but the subtle change in character of the overdriven sounds has really made me enjoy the amp more. I'd like to try some cool NOS tubes eventually, but couldn't be happier with the JJs and TungSols

krock
A lot of techs recommend JJs for Brit amps. Agreed. I swapped the Tung Sol's my housemate had in his ac4 for JJ's and it sounded way more open and much more pleasing to the ear. I've got JJ's in my Brit voiced Blackheart HD15 also.
