Classical guitar headstock, Gibson neck pick-up, split Bartolini bridge pick-up, single volume, single tone control, and 3-way toggle switch. Serial no.616826 and 'Made in USA' imprinted on top of headstock. Is it an EB-3 or EB-0? Some pics included:
Mustache Guitar Repairs 1 Report post Posted February 19, 2013 I have what I believe to be around a 1970s EB-3 bass. Classical guitar headstock, Gibson neck pick-up, split Bartolini bridge pick-up, single volume, single tone control, and 3-way toggle switch. Serial no.616826 and 'Made in USA' imprinted on top of headstock. Is it an EB-3 or EB-0? Some pics included: Most likely an EB-0, Gibson didn't make any basses with a split P-style pickup, so that was almost definitely added at some point as well as the 3 way switch. The serial # puts it around '70-72, made in the Kalamazoo or Nashville plant.
