llmtelecaster
Can anybody tell me if there is a difference in size between the Faded Explorer and the regular model. I know it's probably a strange question but I'm a big guy and most guitars look like toys when I hold them. I've been interested in the Explorer for a while because of its large surface area and I am considering buying one. But then I came across the Faded series which are much more affordable. If they are the same size as the regular Explorer then I'll probably get one. Looked on the Gibson website but wasn't able to find the answer to my question. I'm hoping somebody here owns both and can give me an accurate answer. Thanks!
BIGBENDS
Yeah. There isn't a difference in size between the Explorer and the Explorer faded, but the Explorer pro is smaller & I'm pretty sure that the Robot & Shredx Explorers are smaller also. I hope that helps. Ian Martin
Bigbends is correct. Same size. Different finish. Cheers mate!
solacematt
To get the true size Explorer now you would have to get either an older used one, or the one that was issued as a Guitar Of The Week, I think it was like an '84 Reissue.
