bobby b
[biggrin] I've kinda always wanted a Mesa amp. Brought home a Mesa Express 5:50+ today. Tried both the 5:25+ ( which is no slouch btw.. ) and the 5:50+ and I just fell in love with the 5:50's ( 6L6's ) vibe. The wife also liked the 5:50+ better too.....gotta love when your wife digs yer amp!! Man this 1x12 combo is a whole lotta amp for its size!! Lovin' it so far. I have a 89 LP Standard and a 95 Fender Tele, both git's sound great. Lots of options for dialin' in the sound. Anyone else here usin' this amp? Opinions etc welcomed. Wooooohoooo !!! OK, gotta go play around some more........... Cheers

deeman
Hmmmmm, no Mesa love here!?! I have an early 3 channel dual rec head that i've had for like 7 years. Love it. Its been to at least 100 gigs with me and never had a problem. The tone is to die for and durable as hell. Congrats

Finding some killer tones with it. The clean and blues channels with the Tele + some onboard tube reverb are seriously stellar. The crunch channel + the Les Paul is pure hard rock any way 'ya slice it. So easy to dial up a sound without a lot of fiddling around. bobby
