duluthdan
Fun to play, they have a sweet sound all their own. The wide neck is pretty forgiving, and isn't at all what some would conjure up, doesn't seem to affect playability at all. These guitars are going to become a well kept secret. Honky Dog
The JB Sig arrived at my office today. Lovely guitar. Been playing for the last hour. Lovely sound and fun to play! How do you find the 1.8" nut width? Did you adjust to that pretty fast, or perhaps you were used to something pretty wide? Most of my stable is Gibson with their standard nut width, but I do have a Taylor with 1.75 and it is just fine for me. Reassure me, because the nut width is one of the issues I'm struggling with. I would like to sample one on any guitar, but a pretty limited selection near here.
Motherofpearl
I had one loved the Tone. The neck and the nut weren't that noticeable at first but it was all I played. When started to play all my guitars after the new wore off the transition was odd to me. I'm mostly a flat picker and strumming it started to feel awkward I made mistakes I normally wouldn't have. But I have small hands too. But It wasn't what I expected it to be. It was definatly more comfortable than expected

nid2007
Thanks for the well wishes! Only an hour or so playing time so far, but all is good. Nut width not bothering me at all--I like it. I'll be spending lots of time experimenting with which songs suit it best. Maybe today I'll put it on Open D, capo it up to D# and see how that goes for some Jackson Browne songs and Blood on the Tracks songs. Snow day here! Del, I purchased the Model A (used) -- the one without the pickup. Sold my Santa Cruz OMPW to help fund...no regrets, though that OMPW is a FINE guitar if anyone is ever considering an OM. Honky Dawg
Beautiful guitar! I bet it sounds great. Have you been used to 1-3/4" or 1-23/32" nut width before playing the JB? Enjoy
