Nut and Saddle Composed of?

Anyone else have a Dove Performer Special Edition? Mine has cool looking - yellowed, aged-like - nut and saddle. I was wondering if that means they are bone or ivory, because it doesn't look like the plastic I have seen before on Guild's and Taylors. This is my first Gibson acoustic. Any ideas? Also, the bridge pins are very much plastic and I was wondering what you recommend for replacements-- just cooler looking with abalone, maybe? Thanks!

Assuming the saddle is original, if it isn't compensated -- no "notch" for the B-string -- figure it's bone; if it is, it's Tusq. And if the nut matches the saddle, it's the same stuff.

Bob R, The saddle has a slight variation on the "B" string, but the saddle and nut match and are both yellowed, not plastic looking (also mat finish rather than shiny as plastic would be). I was just curious what they put on these Dove guitars. The pick up system is the same as the Songwriter, so I am assuming it is similar in the other components. Thanks for your response! Dan
