combatrock77
Last Night I got out of work and made it to the Grand opening Event at the SAM ASH superstore at 333 West 34th Street in Manhattan.I entered in the raffle and my name got picked and I now own this sweet piece of Gibson Rock n roll.I am now a stoked owner of the first 10 Jason hook M-4 sherman explorer guitars hand painted by him this one is numbered 10/10!!. With laquer put over the signature. My question is,what is this thing really worth?Should I play it live and shred it, Or keep it a collectors item? Gibson USA, available in a strictly limited edition of 400 guitars.

Gibson USA, available in a strictly limited edition of 400 guitars. Pretty f'ing cool. The website says MSRP is $3199 so it is probably worth about $2000 new without the signature. But, to a fan, this guitar might be worth a nice chunk of change if you wanted to sell it. I mean they only made 10 of them and the guy personally painted them and autographed them. Riffster
Congratulations. If you like the guitar I'd keep it otherwise I'd sell it now that the iron is hot. In 10 years this guitar may be worth less than you imagine.
rct
Congratulations on winning! But I'll also say if you want money out of it sell it right now. Three years people will call it a guitar signed by some guy I never hearda. Signed guitars tend to do that, and yes, they go down in value to everyone except the biggest of big PhanBoyeez. And they usually don't have any money. Good luck with it! rct
