rd_artist
The only bass strings I could find on the Gibson web site are the Epiphone strings, so it is feasible that the Tbird comes with the Epi strings.
raven1844
You may want to try a set of DR Black Beauties on your T-bird. I used to use GHS Boomers all the time - but now use the Black Beauties on all my T-birds. Very rich tone that compliments the natural acoustic "mahogany" sound of the bass. rd_artist
I am a big fan of DR strings, I have a set of black beauties on my Squire vintage modified Jazz, it really tamed the brightness from the maple neck and fretboard and looks good as well.
