I'm just searching for guys who also own or at least tried this GODLIKE masterpiece, and tell me what they think about it, suggestions or comments about her, like what brand and string size would fit her better or whatever you could comment about her =)

I'd also like to know how can you get it's serial number and it's model number, if anyone knows..

Rock on, fellas!

its serial number is on the back of the headstock duh

and slash uses ernie ball custom 11s i believe

i smell something fishy

Beware of Guitar Counterfeiters

edit: why do you need a model number and a serial number if already you've got your own on your own guitar

That's why I was asking, mine has the slash's crossbones and skull with the cigar and hat, but I found in a different business one that has on the headstock "Slash's Les Paul" in some sort of handwritten type, which i found kind of weird and wanted to check that out. But I was asking the model number in order to find out which year is my guitar (yeah, its my first electric guitar, and im a nwb in these things ya know).

ok i just though it was weird that you didn't know what it was except you had a les paul

someone else will be able to help with the model on the back of the headstock

i dont know so much about gibson ones as epiphones

the one the has slashs signature on is the custom shop model i think.

edit: i think all the slash models are 2008 (could be 2007 aswell though)

Yeah...Slash uses a custom set of 11-46 gauge Ernie Ball strings...I've got most of the Slash Les Pauls that have come out...Great guitars.

If you have seen a Slash signature without the skull and bones on the headstock and it has Slash written on the truss rod cover (In handwriting) then its probably the 2004 Custom shop model....The same as the one in your avatar.... The shop where you got that pic from is a great dealer...

yo9u dont need the same kind of strings that slash uses just because you have a slash les paul. the guitar isn't made for a certian type of string :-s buy what ever type of strings you like the feel of best. it is stupid (in my opinion) to buy string brands and sizes just cause your guitar hero uses them.

the serial number is on the back of the headstock, if it is not there the guitar might be counterfit. check all around the back, it is probably just pressed into it.

if it is the kind in your photo it is probably a custom shop model (if it is you have a really nice guitar!)

http://www.gibsoncustom.com/flash/products/signature/slash/Slash.html that could be it.

as far as the slash sinature models go i think the are kinda dumb, they are just a regular les paul standard with different pickups and slashs name on it (which increase the price by like 1000 or 2000 dollars). pretty dumb i think.

oh wait! i just reread your post and you say that yours is the kind with a skull and crossbones on the head then it is a gibson slash les paul standard. check this out yours is probably one of these three http://www.gibson.com/Slash/previous.html

Oh well that explains it.

I have the guitar in my avatar' date=' but that pic isnt mine, its googled :)

So if I have Slash's guitar, then Ernie Ball's strings are must? I like D'Addario a lot, but haven't tried Ernie Ball so i'll give it a shot.[/quote']

are you sure your guitar is like the one on your avatar?

the Gibson USA Slash Sig(the one w/ the skull and bones sig on the headstock) has no piezo bridge like the regular CS model(2004) thus no mini-switch between the knobs. it also has to have an AA flame maple top if it is the sunburst model.

also you don't have to figure out the year on a Gibson USA Slash sig. they're all 2008s. the SB finish is limited to 1600, the GT is Limited to 1000.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the guitar is the same, and it's SunBurst finished.
