Gibson Les Paul Tribute Demo -The Lester Guitar-

My First post here, not sure how I have never joined the forum here. I have been on the CEO forum for a while, but that seems to have fizzled out a year or so ago. I thought I would share my latest demo of the Gibson Les Paul Tribute which is limited to 400 pieces this year. It is a replica of the 1952 Les Paul but it uses the proper tail piece that Les had intended. I think it is a great guitar and plays so nicely. My only complaint is that I have to send away for the cert of authenticity rather than it coming with the guitar.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Scott

Welcome, I heard you on your radio show recently when Josh from Atlas Stands was on. Anyway, hello! Nice video, nice guitar and nice p90 tone!

Thanks guys! Glad you were able to listen to the radio show. We have some great guests and giveaways coming up. Hopefully we will be able to get the folks from Gibson on the show too!

I like the sound of give-aways! Will that be open to us Brits?

I have to discuss with Jeff the other co-host. I was thinking it wouldn't due to shipping costs (we are a new radio show and venture here), but in your opinion would it still be appealing if the winner from outside of the states covered the shipping? For instance we have a Big Muff Pedal signed by Mike Matthews that we are going to give away, or we should have some speakers from Celestion. What are your thoughts? I hate to look cheap, but we have to pinch the pennies as much as we can till we are more established.

Understandable. Here's how to think about it (IMHO), clearly state that shipping outside the US will have to be covered by the entrant, that way people have the choice and you have no decisions to make about other nationalities. I can tell you I would enter all day long.

BTW, if you have a competition that requires the filling in of an online form it would be very easy to have a country selector which, if any country other than the USA is selected, displays a bold notice stating the shipping cost policy. I could do that for you but only if it doesn't exclude me from entering! You'd still be advised to put it in the Ts and Cs for legal reasons.
